Low Error Count Brushless DC Servo Motor
Wai Li -- 2/24/2004

ThinGap Motor Technologies (www.thingap.com) has unveiled the new TG2300-Series NEMA 23 Frame Brushless dc servo motor, which features real-time errors of less than five counts per 81,920 counts per revolution (0.006 percent).

Such low error count has generated much positive feedback from attendees of the National Manufacturing Week in Chicago, says Richard Noling, the company's President and CEO.

Developed for factory automation applications, the motor also features peak torque of 574 oz-inch for quick acceleration and deceleration of heavy loads at up to 7,200 rpm, thanks to the company's patented high-efficiency electromotive coil technology, eliminating the need for gearbox reduction in many applications.
