ThinGap Motor Technologies, a Ventura-based maker
of high-power density DC motors, announced recently
the appointment of veteran corporate administrator Richard
N. Noling as its CEO. He previously worked for several
venture-funded and public companies in finance, operations,
new product positioning, and development, as well as
building management teams for turnarounds, startups,
and growth companies.
Noling was brought in "to help guide our management
team and build our infrastructure," ThinGap President
Jerry Yankie said in a statement. "The addition
of a CEO will allow me to focus on sales and developing
new markets for our products."
Noling previously was president of Insignia Solutions,
a publicly held technology company. He has a bachelor
of arts degree in aerospace and mechanical engineering
science from University of California, San Diego, and
a master of science degree in business from the University
of California, Irvine.
