The ThinGap® TG3300 Series slotless brush PM motor from ThinGap Motor Technologies incorporates an advanced technology armature coil assembly that eliminates the iron core of conventional motors.

This design eliminates cogging torque, iron and hysteresis losses and it is said to achieve high power efficiency over a wide speed range. This series was designed for applications where acceleration, smooth operation, high power and light weight are important, such as in robotics material handling and packaging machinery. The 89 percent efficiency is appropriate for battery-powered applications where power conservation is critical.
